Collective employment law and private employment law are an important area of practice at Schleifenbaum & Adler. In the field of collective employment rights we attend to issues involving collective wage bargaining and labour relations. We have special expertise allowing us to advise companies involved in conflicts with their works council and help conclude of company agreements and devise redundancy schemes. In the area of private employment law we also provide counsel in conflicts between employer and employee, offering legal counselling services as well. We draw up employment contracts, negotiate individual employment conditions and represent employers or employees in satisfying/defending contractual claims. In the field of private employment law we especially focus on all matters relating to protection against unlawful dismissal as representatives of the respective employer or employee. Employment contracts for managing directors are drawn up by our assigned labour specialists in close collaboration with our specialists in commercial and business law. This also applies to commercial agency law. Our attorneys specialised in the protection of industrial property rights and copyright law can contribute their knowledge in all kinds of issues concerning employee invention rights.
